BCFD

This site represents the first in many steps we are taking to modernize BCFD's internet presence. After a substantial installation of hardware was made over the past year, we have begin to roll out a new suite of web enabled services. This new web site is to serve as the portal for all members of the public, and members of BCFD. The software installed here is designed to enable all members of BCFD to contribute to the content of this web site. Joomla is what is referred to as a "Content Management System" , and it is the software that powers this site. It is my hope that the ease of use of Joomla will encourage our members to contribute timely articles about our activities, drills, weather and traffic, to better serve our internet community. I would also like to extend an invitation for any member of the community to create their own account here. Eventually, I hope we can offer more customized web services to you. This new software is a stepping stone towards that end.
